As long as he can remember he has either brushed elbows with criminals, or been one. Not that it's gotten him anywhere. At twenty one, he is faced with a choice- the opportunity to live in security and safety in the criminal underground, or to move outside it for the first time.
With the clock ticking, he definitely doesn't have time for any distractions. I hate your dumb, tattoo I wish you'd fly, to the moon Where there are no girls to use Or screw over I'm laughing cause I lied, you know I said you sound like All Time Low You really don't Even though you try hard You try hard I bet you're gonna hear this song I bet you're gonna sing along and tell tell your friends how I'm obsessed with you.
Oh And I bet you didn't know That you sound like a girl Every time you call me when you're drunk And all that I wanna say Is you really suck. The Rum Tum Tugger loved to watch his best friend practice magic, and often hung around to annoy him. It was easy for what was supposed to be serious practice time to get Three times that people didn't believe The Rum Tum Tugger could get a date, and the one time they came to their senses.
Its the first week of classes, and Mistoffelees is about to be introduced to a whole Idiot A cute idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. As a kitten, Tugger heard the story of a pair of cats who were able to go to the Heaviside Layer together in hopes they would find each other in the next life. When he lays eyes on a mysterious tuxedo tom, who arrived on the junkyard in search of a new home, he can't help but think that maybe it had been more than just a story.
In these difficult times, I propose a distraction. I propose a fic, written entirely based on your suggestions. Yes, you! I've written a starter for a Cats fic. I invite you to comment with your suggestion for the next part of the tale. Go silly. Go serious. Go romantic. Go nuts. Everyone has a perfect match, one person who was made for them and vice versa.

Mistoffelees - 2019 Movie
Earlier productions of Cats depicted Mistoffelees as a full-grown adult and consummate showman. However more modern productions often portray him as a young tom, still exploring his magic powers and not yet fully confident in his abilities. Jacob Brentwho played the character in the filmdescribed him as such. A child prodigy of the tribe, brilliant in what he does but a little wacky at the same time.
He's not an adult yet, but he's not a kitten, so he's at that in between stage He has these magical powers, he doesn't quite know how to use them yet.
But, he's learning. Mistoffelees possesses various magic powers, the main one being his ability to conjure up objects and even other cats. He is also able to create small explosions; in the film, this was depicted as him shooting lightning bolts from his hands. Throughout the musical, he demonstrates other forms of magic such as manipulating light and telekinesis.
In the original Broadway productionMistoffelees brings two life-size puppets made of trash to life. The Japanese production has him levitating one of the other cats during his song, while in the Chinese production he uses his magic to raise the giant tire for Grizabella 's ascent. His main feature comes about in Act 2, when he is called upon by Rum Tum Tugger to use his magic to bring back the kidnapped Old Deuteronomy.
This all takes place during the musical number " Magical Mister Mistoffelees ", which is usually sung by Tugger and sees Mistoffelees perform an extended dance solo full of flashy special effects. Dancers cast in the role generally have extensive ballet and gymnastics training. Because the technical dance skills required for the role trump the performer's vocal abilities, the show permits multiple vocal tracks for the character, allowing some performers who play him to sing quite a bit, while others do no singing at all.
In the early years of the original London productionMistoffelees also sang " The Old Gumbie Cat ", while in the early years of the original Broadway productionhe sang " Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer ". In UK-style productions, Mistoffelees is credited as "Quaxo" up until his song, where he is then revealed to be "Quaxo, otherwise known as Mr.Misto is my favorite!
Mistoffelees found himself perched on top of a car high up in the junkyard. From this spot, he could see all of the 'yard. He noticed Munkstrap leading another partrol. The Conjuring Cat thought little of the many patrols that Munkstrap led everyday. The grey and tabby claimed that Macavity was at large and had kidnapped many cats across London, but Misto hardly believed him.
It had been almost a year since Macavity dared show his face in the Jellicles' junkyard; almost a year since the last Ball. That, of course, meant that the Jellicle Ball was coming soon and the Tribe was getting antsy.
Mentally, he slapped himself. Misto hated when he thought like that. Victoria had a right to choose the mate she wanted. As long has she was happy, Misto was happy. Mistoffelees secretly hated Plato for "stealing" Victoria. Yeah, the gentle, kind, Conjuring Cat was actually capable of feeling hate. What a thought. Anyway, he hated Plato and longed for Victoria, the sweet, snow white ballerina.
Victoria was making her way across one of the many lanes in the junkyard, arm in arm with Jemima, her closest friend, despite the age difference. They were laughing and enjoying the summer evening. Mistoffelees held back tears. This was no time to cry, not with the Ball so near.
He should be practicing his act. He should be planning new tricks that he'd never used before. After all, the other cats would expect something amazing out of him. He was the Conjuring Cat. Ah, who was he kidding.
He'd been mourning Victoria ever since the previous year.
God, how could he be so pathetic. It was then that he decided to pay another visit to the Rum Tum Tugger. So Misto lept from car, to tire, to other random pieces of junk and headed to the Rum Tum Tugger's corner of the junkyard.
It was the first time in his life that Tugger knew exactly what he wanted, and Mistoffelees didn't believe him, and he was going to lose his mind trying to convince him.

Now, wounds will be reopened, relationships tested, and the fate of the Jellicle tribe may hang in the balance. For people who are emotionally invested in the musical: the characters will keep their whacky names, and they will keep their personalities and traits we learn in their songs. For people who have no idea why they're on this side of the internet: the characters have whack-ass names, but they have nice personalities.
Give them a chance. The Rum Tum Tugger has a Unfortunately for him, life isn't so keen on that. Despite the sadness in his past, Tugger finds himself happy and in love with his wonderful new mate Mistoffelees.

Magical Kittens aren't so easily hidden from the world.Quite obviously. So don't bother me about it. Chapter 1. The young calico cat cautiously entered the junkyard. Jemima glanced around for her pure white friend, Victoria.
They had both agreed to meet early for the Jellicle Ball. She looked around for at least one familiar face—ah! She caught sight of a white face with bright, lively black eyes.
She ran up to the tuxedo cat. Have you seen Victoria? Jemima giggled, for she knew the exact reason. After they had met a year ago, Mistoffelees paid frequent visits to Jemima. On one of those visits, he had told her that he had feelings for Victoria. Victoria gave Jemima a hug. Jemima considered telling her that Mistoffelees was there; it would be a wonderful joke. But then she imagined his face and thought about his powers. No one else is here yet. Bombalurina, the saucy red queen, sauntered into the junkyard, a gray-striped but otherwise white kitten by her side.
When she was gone, Jemima turned to Bombalurina. Jemima thought. I never thought that Bombalurina would have a kit unless…of course.
She was still the same aloof, carefree queen. Jemima looked towards the old car to see the most notorious Jellicle twins, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, climbing over the trunk with heavy-looking bags slung over their shoulders. Victoria laughed. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer exchanged fleeting glances, sensing that something was wrong. Victoria looked at Jemima.Story Story Writer Forum Community. Pairing Plus Filters. Cancel Apply 3. The Mystery Cat by Eliaza reviews Who is he really? This alternate-history tale is both an Origins Story and a defense. It questions the so-called Napoleon of Crime's guilt of the crimes imputed to his name. It throws doubt on the supposedly sinister nature of the cat himself. In short, it is a work of speculative fiction based on a desire for a Macavity redemption arc.
